Review Policy

If you are an author, publisher or publicist who would like me to review your book(s), I am currently accepting YA, and select NA books for review. You can contact me at:

I accept ARCs and finished copies, and also e-books (in epub or Kindle {App} (Mobi) format). If the book is part of a series, then I may also need to prequels to it.  While I do accept e-books, I do prefer physical copies, only because they’re quicker for me to read.

The genres I usually read include but are not limited to:

  • Fantasy
  • Paranormal
  • Science Fiction
  • Historical Fiction
  • Dystopia
  • Contemporary
  • Mystery / Thriller
  • Mythology
  • Fairy Tale retellings

I don’t read:

  • Autobiographies
  • Non-Fiction
  • Erotica

I will always try my best to write an informative review. Whether it be negative or positive, I will always give my genuine thoughts on the book in a respectful way. I will also try my best to read and post my review in a timely fashion and around the release date. If your book is not yet released then it’ll take priority over already released books. If the book isn’t an ARC then I ask for about 2-5 months to review it. Please understand that I’m really busy in my day to day life and it might take me awhile to get to your books.

If I have accepted your request, and that time has passed and I haven’t reviewed it yet, feel free to send me a reminder email. Keep in mind that I won’t accept all requests . I will try my best to reply to the request I’m declining, but if you do not receive a response from me then it is likely because I didn’t get a chance to decline.

There are numerous reasons why I might not accept your request, but here are a few:

  • I may not have the time at that moment.
  • Your book didn’t sound like something I’d enjoy.
  • Your request didn’t meet my criteria (ie. Genre, ect)

If I end up not accepting your review, then I came across this service called Book Plex where you can get review packages if you’d like. Furthermore , you can always check out my blogroll to find some other great bloggers (:

Also, if I do end up not accepting your request, I’d be more than happy to do a spotlight of your book on my blog. My goal is to promote books, so even if it’s not a right fit for me, it could be for someone else, all you have to do is ask, and I’ll gladly schedule one for you.

I would gladly consider Author Interviews, Blog Tours, Cover Reveals, Blitz , ect..

In your email, please include:

  • Cover
  • Summary
  • Release Date
  • The format in which you’ll be sending it to me if I were to accept (ie. Physical or E-copy)
  • Excerpts would be appreciated.
  • The time frame you’d like the review to be posted, if you have one.
  • Any other relevant links and information

My reviews include:

  • Cover
  • General Information about the book (title, author, publication date and publisher, page count , series, ect..)
  • Summary
  • Spoiler-free review section with my general thoughts, along with my rating. (Always included)
  • Spoiler Review section (with a warning)- more in-depth review. (This is only included depending on my final thoughts on the book)
  • Rating

I created this form so you can have an idea as to everything I’d want you to include, but don’t use it, I’d rather you email me, because it’s not really convenient for me because I got so many responses, so emails are easier for me.
